Pulled BBQ Pork (Instant Pot)
Super easy and crowd pleasing. Use for sandwiches, soups or casseroles

- 1 pressure cooker
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Boneless Pork Shoulder, trimmed and cut into 3-4 inch pieces
- 2 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
- 1 cup Apple Juice (or stock)
- 2 cups Barbeque Sauce
Instructions
Prep the meat
- Add all of the dry spices in a 1 gallon zipper top bag, or a bowl will work.
- Toss the pieces of meat in the closed bag until coated with the spices.
Add liquids to insert of pressure cooker
Place meat into the liquid (no need for a trivet with this recipe)
Cook the meat
- Put lid on and set for manual pressure: 30 minutes for pork loin, 40 minutes for boneless shoulder and 60 minutes for bone-in shoulder.
- After the cooking time has elapsed. Let the pressure release naturally.
Shred the meat
- Remove the meat from the pressure cooker and shred.
